It's been a while since we updated you so we thought we'd take time now to do so.

We release our new EP Vexed in December. This EP was the final part of a process that began in October 2012.

It started with the addition of our new guitar player, Deputy Dave Hanson, who replaced Mike who had to leave for personal reasons. After an accelerated introduction to the band, we headed into Phase One Studio.
Joining us was our new producer, David Barrett (David Barrett Trio, Classic Albums Live) along with engineer Jeff Pelletier and assistant Matt Snell.

We continued to head into the studio every few months and gradually we completed the five songs that would make the EP.
Vexed was released on iTunes in December 2013.

We also got out to play our Indie set live at a number of Toronto and area venues such as The Painted Lady, The Rockpile, The Velvet Underground, The el Mocambo, All Stars, The Brawley and The Revival.

We had a number of radio interviews throughout the year too on stations such as  Big Blend Radio, Mojo Radio, The New Driven Torqued Show, The Irish Jinger Show (From Belgium), Radio Riff and did a live to air performance and interview on Rocker's Dive Radio.

In January of this year, our guitar player Len, had to step away on an extended leave of absence. Following his departure, we found ourselves reworking a few of our tunes to compensate for the gap created by the loss of Len.
JT, after recovering from surgery for carpel tunnel related problems, was finally able to pick up the guitar again. With her back on guitar and Dave changing some of his parts, we were able to move on and accept bookings again.

We are now operating as a four piece band with JT, Deputy Dave, Barb and Baz.
We have new songs in the works and have a plan to go back into the studio this summer.

A Change of Seasons

Hi all,

We hope you had a great summer and are getting ready for the fall.
Cool crisp mornings and evenings are great with some sunny daylight filling the void.

Studio

We decided the final cut for one of our new songs isn't what we wanted so we'll be heading back to Phase One Studio to do it over.
Once we have it completed, we will be releasing a new EP to iTunes.

Upcoming 

We have 2 shows coming up in October and both will have a Halloween theme.

The first on will be on Friday, October  25th at All Stars in Brampton.

Then, the next night, Saturday October 26th we will be playing at a 2 day Cancer Fundraiser for
Promoter Leigh Wilson-Lafantaisie who has been diagnosed with Ductile Carcinoma of the Left Breast.

It's a 2 day fundraising event to help Leigh with the costs of the radiation treatments she is needing. Unfortunately, OHIP will only cover 70% of these costs. Leigh has approx 15 more weeks of treatment to go through which will cost her $372.97 per week out of pocket. That is a grand total of $5594.55! OUR GOAL IS $6000.00

The show is at The Brawley Restaurant and Lounge in Etobicoke. We are playing the second night and it's an early one with our set starting at 6pm and they are asking for a minimum $5 donation at the door.

New Song Debut and Show Announcement

New Song Debut

We have a new song debuting this week on the New Driven Torqued Show.
They will also be airing an interview with the band on their show this week.

The song is called "Southgate Angel" and we recently finished recording it at Phase One Studio in Toronto.
The song was Produced by David Barrett, Engineered by Jeff Pelletier and Assisted by Matt Snell.

Show Announcement

We will be playing at the Toronto League of Rock's 25th Session Showcase at the el Mocambo in Toronto on Wednesday, July 17th. 
We have been invited as special guests as we were all past League of Rock Alumni. 

We will be kicking off around 7:00PM and then the session bands will finish the night.
There is a $10.00 cover charge.

Mojo Radio, Toronto Roller Derby and more

The show we announced last week for the Toronto Roller Derby has been rescheduled.
As a result, we are unable to make the new date so we will not be performing at the benefit show for the Toronto Roller Derby. Please visit Toronto Roller Derby for info.

We had an awesome time Sunday night on "My Jaded Remedy" with DJ Crystal Myth.
The show was scheduled from 7-10pm but we had so much to say, we were on the air until 11:30.

Now we're into pre-production with David Barrett for our studio visit next week.
We'll be heading back to Toronto's renowned Phase One Studio.
I think we're still deciding on how many songs to include on our next release but we hope to release our second EP before the end of the year.

Show Announcement

We will be playing a show at The Velvet Underground in Torono on June 27.

This is a benefit show for the Toronto Roller Derby. More details will be released soon.

We will also be making a special appearance in July but this will be a surprise and the details will not be released until just before the event. We can tell you the date will probably be July 16th and it will be in Toronto.

Leona's Sister will also be back to Phase One Studio this month to record a couple of new songs for our soon to be released EP coming later this year. We have been releasing the songs for radio play as singles but will soon have the full complement for the EP.
