New Release

Leona's Sister (http://www.leonassister.com/) found themselves back at Phase One Studio (http://www.phaseonestudios.com/) recording a couple of new songs to start the year.

 
Again, with producer David Barrett (http://www.noisytrade.com/) and engineer Jeff Pelletier in the control room, they managed to complete 2 new songs.
Tracking for the songs was done on January 13 and then, after having a bit of time to contemplate, they returned on January 27 to do the final mixing.

The first of the 2 songs, Five Secrets, will be making it's debut on the New Driven Radio Show (http://NewDriven.Tumblr.com) and airing on their syndicated show, Torqued, on February 4. The first broadcast will be on Mojo Radio (http://mojoradio.us/) which airs at 11am EDT.

A big thanks to the New Driven folks, Sherry and Steve, as well as the Mojo Radio crew, Crystal and Wes.

January also found the band playing at Schuey's Bar and Grill in Toronto for Carla's 50th birthday bash.
A big thanks to Dave and Carla for inviting Leona's Sister to the party.

Leona's Sister will also be playing at the Rockpile in Toronto on February 24th. This is part of an Indie night scheduled for the club. The band will hit the stage around 8pm. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickers will be available in advance, from band members as well as online, http://www.ticketscene.ca/events/7855

We'll be back at Phase One Studio in January to record a couple new tunes.
We should have something out by the end of the month.

2012 was a good year for us on Indie Radio. The folks at New Driven have been having their own success and we've gained some great exposure on their show.
