Leona's Sister has a show coming up on Saturday, May 11th, 2013 at The Velvet Underground in Toronto.
This is a Break Loose Entertainment Indie Show and there will be 4 or 5 more acts TBA.
The doors open at 7PM and Leona's Sister will probably be on around 9PM but the set times are not set yet. Please check out our event page for info as it becomes available.
New Release
Leona's Sister has a new song to be released in early May. They recorded Slingshot back in January at Phase One Studio in Toronto. Slingshot was produced by David Barrett, engineered by Jeff Pelletier with Matt Snell assisting.
Leona's Sister is hoping to talk DJ Sherry Sabine into debuting Slingshot on the New Driven Torqued show so stay tuned.
News
The Rockpile
We had a good show at The Rockpile in February. Thanks to Lance for putting together a well organized event.
The Hoot
We also played at the Beach and Bluffs Bikini Bingo Retro a Go-Go & Hootenanny, a charity benefit with proceeds going to the Nature Conservatory of Canada, and Variety Village of Scarborough. It was a hoot with band members both contributing and buying pieces in the silent auction.
